Shape Our Future: Open Board & Volunteer Roles

Our association thrives because of the dedicated volunteers who work behind the scenes to make sure our athletes have a place to play. As we look toward the 2026/2027 season, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors.

If you have a few hours a month to give back and want to have a say in how our club grows, we would love to have you!

💡 Volunteer Bond Credits: Did you know that serving in any of these Board or Coordinator roles is a fantastic way to fulfill your volunteer bond credits for the entire season?

Executive & Board Postings (2-Year Terms)

These roles are the backbone of our operations and help steer the FRA in the right direction:

• Vice President: Support the President and help oversee general operations.
• Treasurer: Manage the association’s finances and budgeting.
• Director of Fundraising: Lead initiatives that keep registration costs affordable.
• Director of Tournaments: Help coordinate our signature events and home tournaments.

Short-Term & Annual Roles (1-Year Terms)

Looking to get involved without a multi-year commitment? These roles are a perfect "entry point" to the board:

• Division Coordinator: Act as the liaison between the board, coaches, and parents for your specific age group.
• Director at Large: Provide support on various projects and gain insight into how the board functions.

Special Call: Summer Events Coordinator

Do you love a good parade and community spirit? We are looking for a Summer Events Coordinator! This is a seasonal role focused on organizing the FRA’s presence at:

• High River & Okotoks Parades
• The Family Expo
• Various local summer community events

This is a great way to help promote Ringette and get our jersey out in the community during the "off-season."
