Here’s your chance to get into the Christmas spirit of giving!
We are proud to share that we will be supporting High River Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) with this initiative. Their Christmas program supports singles and seniors who may be isolated, spending the holidays alone, or experiencing hardship. Your support brings comfort, dignity, and joy to those who may otherwise go without. Your contributions will directly help individuals in our community who need extra care this holiday season.
Participation in this initiative is completely optional, but if your team chooses to take part, we kindly ask that you provide a variety of gender-based gifts to support the needs of both male and female recipients.
These gift bags are given to individuals who visit High River FCSS during the holiday season and need a pick-me-up. They are meant to brighten someone’s day and remind them that their community cares.
We ask that gifts be placed in gift bags with tissue paper, with a clear indication of male or female (tissue paper color works well).
We are hoping to collect approximately:
-
7 Male gift bags
DUE DECEMBER 7th
Suggested items include:
**Each gift bag typically includes 7 items and costs approximately $35-$45.
This year, your team will have the opportunity to win an Engage Session with the Rocky Mountain Rage.
**Skate session date to be determined — details can be found below.
Each completed gift bag will count as one entry into the draw for the Engage Session, so the more your team contributes, the better your chances!
Gift bags can be dropped off in Okotoks to Emma (scheduler@foothillsringette.com or High River to Karen (president@foothillsringette.com) NO later than December 7.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping us support High River FCSS this holiday season. We can’t wait to see which team will take home the Engage Session with the Rocky Mountain Rage!
If you have any questions, please let us know.
Engage with Rage
Rocky Mountain Rage is now running practice sessions in and around Calgary! With focus on giving back to the communities that have shaped the people and Ringette players we are today, Rage is kicking off a donation-based system that gives local teams access to high level coaching.
With coaching and mentoring experience ranging from U19AA to U10, our Rage players have connected with, and developed, many young players. Through one-on-one feedback and drills specified to your team’s needs, these sessions are an amazing opportunity to grow as a team & support a local NRL franchise!
Q & A
How many Rage players will come out?
Minimum 2 Rage players will attend. We will always aim for more, so all players or goalies can get feedback.
What would we need from the teams? Teams provide the ice time (whether 60 or 75 minutes) and equipment, including rings and pylons. At least one of your coaches must be on the ice, but all coaches are welcome.
Do players get the chance to get autographs/photos? Absolutely! Rage players will be available for autographs and photos following the ice time.
